Bug Tussel Wireless is Hiring a Safety Manager Near Green, WI

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations. This is a critical role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a safe work environment.

No direct line employees. Should additional safety personnel be hired, the Safety Manager will be the direct supervisor.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine the safety programs and policies that are required to be in place for all Hilbert companies.
  • Write, issue, and maintain all safety programs and policies.
  • Determine the safety training needs for all employees.
  • Facilitate, document, and retain the records of all employee training.
  • Ensure employee training compliance.
  • Determine all required and essential PPE.
  • Ensure proper PPE is available and tested (as required).
  • Perform field safety audits and hazard assessments.
  • Provide Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with regards to all aspects of safety (such as: days since last incident, training compliance rates, etc.)
  • Facilitate incident and accident investigations and provide the required reports.
  • Ensure injured employees have been provided proper medical management and documentation has been provided to the company and OSHA (if required).
  • Works with supervisors for injured employees return to work to ensure workers compensation and medical requirements are being adhered to.
  • Complete and file annual OSHA 300 forms.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance officers and inquiries are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • This position is the company representative during all OSHA visits, inquiries, and audits.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Must have GED.
  • Preferred qualifications in EHS field, including but not limited to: GSP, ASP, CSP, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing EHS programs.
  • Mechanical ability and understanding.
  • Knowledgeable in the requirements of OSHA 1910 & 1926.
  • 3 or more years of management/leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years construction safety background required.
  • Full understanding of applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to write and maintain programs and policies.
  • Ability to write and facilitate training programs.
  • Willingness to perform continued education specific to safety.
  • Strong competency in computer skills including the Microsoft suite of programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically capable of performing tasks alongside employees at various jobsites. May include heights in excess of 100’ working in cold and hot climates.
  • Must be able to lift greater than 50lbs.
  • Frequently spends time driving company vehicles, standing, walking, and sitting. Working in an office environment multitasking computer, phone, paperwork, conducting meetings, and meeting stringent budgets and timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
